I am really excited to be a new member of Monadnock Buy Local, a great group of locally-owned businesses working to build a stronger community ~ I was thrilled when they asked me for a few words about my business & my Locally Known farm series…The article is printed in today’s Monadnock Shopper News (in mailboxes everywhere!), and I have posted the article below. A huge thank you to lovely wordsmith, Tracy Tanner Craig, who brought words to page and made me sound so nice (and who, I think, is my biggest supporter & fan…outside of my dad of course)
*** JUST 19 DAYS LEFT FOR MY LOCALLY KNOWN KICKSTARTER FUNDRAISER! LET’S WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS PROJECT SUCCESSFUL! I NEED YOUR HELP TO CONTINUE LOCALLY KNOWN! LET’S CHOOSE TO SUPPORT *LOCAL ART * LOCAL FARMS * LOCAL FOOD **

Did you notice the word AFFORDABLE in the title?
Yes, it’s true! Peterborough is actually having an affordable arts fair, just for us folks that don’t have a ton of money (or even half a ton)!
And, I am so thrilled to be a part of it this year, with my very own booth ~ I’ll be selling some of my own handmade items:
* notecards, with my photography *
*fine art prints, matted & mounted & ready to go *
* framed fine art prints *
*reinvented wool potholders, with pretty vintage fabric & buttons *
*upcycled wool hats *
* fabric bowls *
*hand-knit mitten ornaments *
All artwork & crafts are under $50, and that includes all of the crafts people and artisans there! Over 50 artists!
Saturday June 9 :: Peterborough Town House, 1 Grive Street :: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
See you there!

What a great day Greenerborough was…lots of fresh food, fabulous local farmers, the warm sunshine and of course, The PhotoBooth!
The PhotoBooth Gallery is available for viewing for just 10 days ~ and yes, I know, my copyright is right smack- dab in the middle of the photographs. Why did I put it there? you ask….well, sadly, the last time I posted my PhotoBooth images from Children in the Arts, some people decided that it was more fun to copy, download, and print (i.e.: steal) the images than to respect artist copyright laws. Not that you, dear viewer and lover of the arts, would ever do that…

CLICK ME: Locally Known Fundraising Campaign!
Peterborough photographer Kimberly Peck begins a 30-day Kickstarter Campaign to raise funds for the expansion of her popular local farm & food photo segment, Locally Known: a photographic celebration of our local farms. In 2011, Kim began photo journaling local farms & producers in the Monadnock area in the hopes of building support for the growing local food movement and she is now looking to expand both the region and scope of her work. The campaign seeks to raise $7000 to cover the costs of travel around New England, photography, regional exhibitions and the creation of an amazing coffee table art book & 2013 calendar for sale throughout New England.
** I am so very thrilled to launch this fundraiser, and I can’t wait to get out there photographing our amazing New England farms ~ I hope you will join my excitement for supporting local art & local food, and in advance, I would like to thank you for any support you are able to offer, even if it just means getting the word out there to people who would like to contribute!!
