The 2011 Local Food Growers Tour: With 16 farms to visit tomorrow, it’s the only thing that I will be doing, and I am so excited! Please make sure to put it on top of your Saturday priority list - Lots of amazing farms and farmers, local delicious food to feast your eyes upon (and eat!), and fabulous demonstrations that will rock your eating world. There are a number of Locally Known farms on this tour, including Farmer John’s Plot, Rosaly’s Garden & Farmstand, Sunnyfield Farm, and The Cornucopia Project. You will love meeting the amazing people who are growing our food…they are all super nice, full of spectacular gardening & food information… please give them a deep & sincere thank you when you see them for providing us with such a delicious bounty of food for our meals.
